Sockets, talismans and blessing
Separate gem slots, talisman sacrifice and Wuxing Oven services.
A socket is a slot for a compatible gem. It is separate from an item's +level, equipment level and blessing. Read the selected item's socket state and the service quote before spending a drill or other material.
Talisman sockets
As of the September 27 update, CP payments for talisman socket progress are disabled. The native CP control may still be visible, but the server rejects it without spending CPs or changing progress. Item sacrifice remains available. Sacrifice consumes selected equipment, so check each selected item before confirming.
Wuxing Oven blessing
Find WuxingOven in Market at (178,204) and choose Bless. The service costs 20,000 CPs for an eligible -1 blessing. It is separate from using Tortoise Gems. The old standalone Market Bless NPC has been suppressed.
The service presents the supported equipment slots, including garment, weapon accessories, mount armor, riding crop, bottle, fan and tower. Equip the intended item and confirm its eligibility; do not assume an already-blessed item can be repeatedly improved with this service.
Finding materials
Tough Drills cost 120 Online Points and can also come from Weekly Extermination, Treasure Thief or the lottery. They are no longer sold in the PVE or Boss shops. Socketed equipment can also be won directly from the lottery's one-socket and two-socket categories. A lottery socket is empty until you insert a compatible gem.
