Hunting rewards and reward pauses

What ordinary kills can award, how bonuses work and why progress may stop.

3 min read · Reviewed October 10, 2026

Ordinary hunting, scheduled bosses and events use different reward paths. Do not apply the normal monster odds to every creature or event chest.

Normal hunting rolls

Regular static hunting populations were halved, with odd groups rounded up. NewCanyon, NewForest and NewDesert have additional spawns. Normal monsters use a seven-second default respawn; special respawn rules remain in effect. Eligible kills in these three maps also count toward PvE quests and kill achievements.

On the eligible normal loot path, Dragon Ball has a 1 in 800 chance and Meteor Scroll a 1 in 1,000 chance; these outcomes are mutually exclusive. A separate direct-CP roll has a 1 in 125 chance to award 30 unbound CPs before an eligible bonus. These are random rolls, not guaranteed payments after a fixed kill count.

At the base rate, 1,000 eligible kills average 240 direct CPs, or 360 with the +50% bonus. One short session can be above or below that average. Boss bundles and quest claims are separate rewards.

Farm Bonus Pass and VIP 6

Farm Potions give +50% to eligible direct monster CP rewards for their stated connected time: one, two or 24 hours depending on the item. The timer runs while connected, including idle time, and pauses on logout or /offline. Active VIP 6 gives the same hunting bonus. They do not stack into +100%. Additional potions add their connected time rather than increasing the percentage. VIP 6 instead uses real-time expiry and continues counting offline. With the bonus, each eligible 30-CP base award gives 45 CPs. Event prizes, calendar claims and every other source of CPs are not automatically multiplied.

Auto Scatter verification

While Auto Scatter is enabled, a six-digit check appears after a random 5-10 minutes. Automatic Scatter pauses while it is open. Answer within 60 seconds; a timeout disables Auto Scatter and ends Cyclone while preserving the tracked result. Correct answers schedule another random check. A timed-out check must be completed before restarting.

When the server pauses rewards

Repeated stationary Scatter farming can trigger a reward pause. A pause can stop rewards even while attacks continue. Combat and experience can continue while loot, currency and personal kill rewards are paused, so visible attacks are not proof that quest progress is being awarded.

Take a two-minute break from monster combat, or resume sustained hunting movement across the area. A small step, immediate reconnect or switching skills does not instantly clear the pause. Skipped rewards are not stored for later. If normal active play repeatedly triggers it, report the time, map and what you were doing to Support.
