Automatic potion slots

Set F9 and F10 correctly and understand when repetition pauses.

2 min read · Reviewed October 10, 2026

Place potions on F9 and F10, then click the potion-bottle control or type /autopotion on. Use the button again or /autopotion off to stop. The green indicator and tooltip show the enabled state.

How it behaves

The client attempts F9 and F10 alternately about every 250 milliseconds: each slot repeats every 500 milliseconds, up to two attempts per second per slot. It uses only HP/MP potions assigned to those slots; skills and other items are skipped. The server checks health/mana limits, cooldowns and normal potion restrictions.

Automatic pauses

Repetition pauses when another application has focus, the game is minimized, Market or another input-capturing interface is open, or Alt or Shift is held. Ctrl jumping and right-click casting do not pause it. It resumes when the blocking condition clears. The setting starts off at login and resets on disconnect.

Shared HP limit

HP potions share a maximum of three uses in any rolling second across manual use and both automatic slots. Switching potion types or toggling automation does not reset the limit. A single automatic HP slot still runs at two attempts per second; two HP slots can reach the shared three-per-second limit. Healing per item and mana timing are unchanged.

Manual potions

Manual health potions are blocked while auto-potion is enabled, even when automatic use is paused for focus or an open interface. Disable auto-potion to use health potions manually. Manual mana potions and skills remain independent.

Before hunting

  1. Verify that both F9 and F10 contain the intended potions.
  2. Check your inventory supply.
  3. Enable the feature and confirm the indicator.
  4. Do not assume it will continue while you are typing into a custom window or using a modifier key.

If it seems inactive, close the overlay, release modifiers, focus the game and check the enabled state. Ordinary offline mode does not keep the client-side potion feature running.
