Getting started

Your first character and starter pack

A practical route from your first login to hunting, training and daily quests.

3 min read · Reviewed October 10, 2026

Start AsuraCo through AsuraLauncher using your website account. New characters begin at level 1 with permanent VIP 5 and a bound WelcomePack. Open the pack before buying equipment: it supplies the basics for your class.

Open your WelcomePack

Leave room in your inventory, then right-click the pack. It contains 105 bound normal EXP Balls, one bound EXP Potion (double experience for one hour), one bound Small Benediction Stone (three days of Heaven's Blessing), a bound Second-Reborn Equipment Pack, and class equipment. A full inventory preserves the pack instead of giving a partial reward.

The equipment is elite, bound and +0, with one Super Rainbow Gem in each piece. Level and promotion requirements still apply; weapon-proficiency requirements have been removed. This pack does not include a free fan or tower talisman.

ArcherDeerskin Coat and level-1 elite Bamboo Bow
NinjaLower Ninja Vest and two Steel Katanas
MonkBurlap Frock and two Sandalwood Prayer Beads
TaoistTao Robe and Just Backsword

Every class receives one elite Bamboo Bow (Archers receive one total), Green Earring and Oxhide Boots. Non-Taoists receive Copper Ring and Light Necklace; Taoists receive Peach Bracelet and Perfume Bag.

Save your Second-Reborn Equipment Pack

Open this bound pack after your second rebirth. It supplies equipment for your class at opening: Super quality, +3, -1 blessing and one empty socket. It does not include fan or tower talismans.

Take your first steps

  1. Use the normal EXP Balls. The 105 balls take a fresh level-1 character to at least level 100; they use a different curve from hunting experience.
  2. Visit your class trainer and complete eligible promotions. Reaching a level alone does not remove equipment promotion requirements.
  3. Open /quests and accept the three weekly and daily farming quests before hunting. Earlier kills do not count retroactively.
  4. Train your weapons and skills, then choose a hunting area where you can kill comfortably. All classes can use bows and Scatter.
  5. Check Events below the minimap when you want a break from hunting. The event guide explains entry windows.

When something does not equip

Read the item's level and class-promotion requirements. Raise the missing requirement rather than replacing the whole starter set. Keep your valuable materials until you understand equipment upgrades and the Store.
