Monk: prayer beads and combat skills
Whirlwind Kick, Oblivion, auras and Radiant Palm.
The Monk starter pack supplies two Sandalwood Prayer Beads and a Burlap Frock. The starting supported skill set includes Whirlwind Kick, Triple Attack and Oblivion.
Combat and progression
Whirlwind Kick deals physical area damage to eligible nearby targets and removes flight from affected players. Oblivion is a monster-hunting XP skill, not a healing spell. The automatic learner includes Tyrant Aura and Fend Aura at level 20 with the appropriate promotion, then Serenity and Radiant Palm at level 40.
Later skills
Tranquility is checked at level 70, and Compassion and the elemental auras at level 100 with their required promotions. Soul Shackle requires pure Monk history. It prevents a dead target from reviving for at most 30 seconds at every current skill level. The limit was reduced from 90 seconds to prevent players abusing the skill throughout the game; existing target eligibility and recast restrictions still apply. Radiant Palm uses the accelerated training curve; Triple Attack retains its own progression.
Shared AsuraCo features
All classes receive Scatter and Divine Hare. Eligible missing class skills are learned at level 0 automatically; trained skills retain their progress. Visit your trainer for promotion, and use the skill-learning checklist if a grant is missing.
