Leveling and EXP Balls
Understand normal balls, yellow balls, hunting experience and the level-140 cap.
AsuraCo has separate progression rules for monster experience and EXP Ball items. Do not apply a single advertised experience multiplier to every reward. Equipment, survivability and time spent actually killing matter more than choosing the highest-level monster you can reach.
Normal EXP Balls
The WelcomePack's 105 normal balls are enough for a fresh character to reach at least level 100. Starting from level 1 and zero experience, reaching level 130 takes 663 normal balls in total. From level 130 at zero experience, a non-reborn character needs 1,000,000 more normal balls to reach level 140 if no other experience is earned.
| Level step | Balls |
|---|---|
| 130 to 131 | 8,823 |
| 131 to 132 | 13,236 |
| 132 to 133 | 19,853 |
| 133 to 134 | 29,781 |
| 134 to 135 | 44,670 |
| 135 to 136 | 67,006 |
| 136 to 137 | 100,508 |
| 137 to 138 | 150,763 |
| 138 to 139 | 226,144 |
| 139 to 140 | 339,216 |
Use normal balls in bulk
Right-click a stack of at least two normal EXP Balls to choose an amount, Max or Use. Cancel or Escape closes the window without spending; a single ball is used immediately. You can also type /xpballs all or /xpballs 10000. Bulk use preserves surplus balls at level 140 and skips locked or suspicious items.
Yellow Power EXP Balls
A yellow Power EXP Ball gives 10% of the experience required for your current level, rounded up. Excess experience carries across a level-up. Monster-experience multipliers do not increase this grant. At level 140, an owned ball cannot be used; Letters of Asura substitutes a +4 Stone if its selected yellow-ball reward is claimed at that level.
Make hunting do more than one job
Accept all available farming quests first. Hunt your Gourd's assigned species on its specified map to advance Gourd, Daily Extermination and Letters together. Use the Gourd locations as confirmed hunting destinations, rather than assuming a retail leveling route applies here.
Your pack's EXP Potion improves hunting experience for one hour. It does not multiply quest-point awards or the normal-ball curve. Rebirth restoration can skip levels; the table describes an ordinary non-reborn character without that restoration.
