AsuraCo Alpha - September 13 Updates

AlphaBossesTwin CityProgression

Updates implemented on September 13, 2026. All times are Paris time (CEST).

11:40 - Bosses, progression and interface updates

AsuraCo is evolving every day. Today's updates improve boss fights, reward collection, progression and the Twin City menus.

Bosses and rewards

  • Twin City boss auto-attack: Melee attacks now continue automatically against Darkmoon Demon, including after weapon skills trigger.
  • Magic allowed against Darkmoon Demon: Removed the boss-specific spell restriction and its warning message.
  • Equal damage against Darkmoon Demon: Each attack deals 1 damage regardless of equipment or damage bonuses. This rule applies to the Twin City boss, not every boss.
  • Random Darkmoon Demon health: Each spawn or respawn starts with a random 300-500 HP. Its health bar now displays the smaller health pool correctly.
  • Nearby boss loot: Event-boss rewards, including Sword Master's, now drop within 3 tiles of the death spot on connected floor tiles. If nearby space is unavailable, rewards go to the killer's inventory or returned items.
  • Boss event entry: Players can continue entering a boss event while its boss is alive.
  • Boss experience: Boss hits and kills no longer grant direct character or team experience. Reward loot and skill training remain available.

Twin City and events

  • Central guide menu: The guide now offers Online Point counter, Online Point shop, Vote counter and Vote Point shop. Removed its old links, free-level and token actions.
  • Online Point NPC removed: The separate Online Point NPC is gone; its counter and shop remain available through the central guide.
  • Pole Domination NPCs removed: Removed the remaining entry, reward and pole spawn entries, and fixed the static NPC loader to exclude retired NPCs.
  • GameLevel cleanup: Removed the leftover hourly invitation for the retired event. Its entry/reward NPC and CollectorWong were also removed today.
  • Treasure Hunt: Rounds now offer 40 boxes, with re-entry available until the five-minute round ends.
  • Training stakes: Updated the Twin City stake IDs to resolve the client's Capture-mode targeting restrictions.

Progression and shops

  • Permanent baseline VIP 2: New and existing characters receive at least VIP 2 without renewal. Higher VIP levels retain their normal duration rules.
  • Automatic class skills: Eligible class skills are learned automatically, including skills retained through rebirth. Level, promotion, prerequisite and pure-rebirth requirements still apply.
  • Shopping Mall prices: Lottery Tickets cost 2,000 CPs, Super Tortoise Gems cost 5,000 CPs, and single Meteors cost 20 CPs.
  • Lottery tickets: Tickets can open lottery boxes directly. Equipment reward colors and upgrade validation were corrected.
  • Equipment upgrades: Equipment at level 120 and above can no longer use Meteors for level upgrades.

Chat and interface

  • World chat cooldown: Reduced the delay between World messages from 15 seconds to 1 second.
  • Alpha welcome window: The Alpha welcome message was temporarily disabled during the login-visibility investigation and remains paused.
  • Skill-bar artwork: Restored the original skill-bar artwork while keeping the bow skill controls.

Restart through the launcher to receive today's client update. Thank you for helping us improve AsuraCo Alpha!

11:55 - Login visibility recovery

The server now refreshes nearby players and NPCs when login completes. The welcome popup was temporarily disabled during the investigation. Intermittent loading issues remain under investigation.

12:55 - Launcher and gameplay follow-up (3.15.1)

Client 3.15.1 brings a launcher fix and easier access to voting and Twin City.

  • Second-account launcher fix: Fixed repeated "Close the game to update" warnings caused by the game changing its screen-layout file. Opening another account no longer treats those normal changes as an update. Repair and genuine updates still replace files when needed.
  • Vote from Twin City: Added Vote as the first option in the central Online/Vote Points guide. It opens our XtremeTop100 voting page with vote tracking. Vote points are awarded after a confirmed vote, not just opening the page.
  • Return to Twin City: Both @stuck and @stuch now return players to Twin City.
  • Unlimited Stamina room exit: Added clear @leave instructions to the entry dialogue, arrival message, room scoreboard, and command help. Use it to return to Twin City.
  • Login visibility recovery: The server refreshes nearby players and NPCs when login finishes. This recovery improvement is already live; investigation of intermittent missing actors continues.
  • Welcome window paused: The Alpha welcome popup remains disabled while we investigate loading issues.
  • Restart notices: Players receive an in-game maintenance countdown before this planned restart.
  • Cosmetic investigation: Audited 806 imported appearances and 5,398 linked assets. No file/reference problems were found by those checks. Controlled effect comparisons are prepared; no garment has been confirmed as the cause, and no skins are removed in this update.

Close all game windows once and restart through the launcher to install this update. After updating, you can open additional accounts normally.

Thank you for testing and reporting issues as AsuraCo Alpha evolves every day.

13:19 - Arena, voting and boss hotfix (3.15.2)

Client 3.15.2 fixes arena escape commands, browser links and the Twin City boss.

  • Arena escape: @stuck and @stuch return players to Twin City (428, 378), including GM, PM and help-desk accounts. The arena's @leave command now works for those accounts too. The room instructions now recommend @stuck.
  • Vote browser fix: The client now allows AsuraCo and XtremeTop100 HTTPS links, fixing the Vote button and the Vote Point shop's voting-page link. The old game-exit website popups remain blocked. Vote points still require a confirmed vote.
  • Twin City boss cannot heal: Removed the healing spell from Darkmoon Demon's attacks and blocked its healing routine. Other bosses retain their healing.
  • Hidden boss health: Darkmoon Demon's real maximum and remaining HP are no longer sent to players, including those arriving mid-fight. Its displayed health stays full until death. The boss still spawns with a random 300-500 HP, and each hit still deals 1 damage.

Close the game and reopen the launcher to install this client update. The cosmetic-loading investigation is ongoing; this update does not claim to resolve it.

14:04 - Escape menu, quieter audio and Last Man (3.15.3)

  • Escape menu Offline: Replaced Offline TG with Offline. It now uses the same behavior as /offline and returns to the launcher after the server confirms offline mode. Existing offline admission rules still apply.
  • Stay button: Renamed Play Game to Stay. Exit and Login keep their existing actions.
  • World chat cooldown completed: Removed the client-side 15-second delay and updated its warning to one second, matching the server cooldown. This fixes the remaining wait after the earlier server-only change.
  • Quieter character creation: Reduced creation sound effects from 100 to 15. Its background music remains muted.
  • Quieter game defaults: Reduced default music from 50 to 8 (rounded) and sound effects from 80 to 12, approximately 85% lower. Existing saved player volume choices are preserved; sliders remain adjustable.
  • Last Man once per hour: Removed the second round at :55 and its duplicate Events listing. Signups open at :48, the fight starts at :50 and ends by :55, Paris time. Rewards are unchanged.

Players received the maintenance countdown before the server restart. Close the game and reopen the launcher to receive the client changes.

15:19 - Welcome announcement, Escape menu and boss corrections (3.15.4)

  • Alpha welcome announcement: Restored the native UPDATES window with our Alpha welcome, daily-development notice and patch-news address. It is sent once after the nearby-player and NPC refresh at login completion.
  • Original Escape buttons: Restored the Offline TG and Play Game labels and artwork. Offline TG still uses /offline; Play Game keeps you in the game.
  • Twin City boss health display: Removed Darkmoon Demon's boss-health panel instead of showing the misleading fixed health value. Its real spawn health remains random between 300 and 500, and each attack still deals 1 damage.
  • Boss healing correction: Player healing spells can no longer restore Darkmoon Demon's health or show a healing target animation. Its own healing spell and healing routine remain disabled.
  • TopMoneyBag in the Shopping Mall: Added the bag to both Shopping Mall entry points for 250,000 CPs. Opening it grants 500,000,000 silver.

Players received the maintenance countdown before the restart. Close the game and reopen the launcher to install this update. The welcome window and boss panel still need in-game visual confirmation; the earlier actor-loading investigation remains open.

15:32 - Wardrobe Studio preview (3.16.0)

  • New Studio preview: Open /wardrobe to inspect garments and weapon accessories with a larger animated model. Drag to rotate and scroll to zoom.
  • Compare views: Use Studio and Classic beneath the character. Classic shows cosmetic effects; mounts and unsupported Studio appearances automatically use Classic.

Close the game and reopen the launcher to install client 3.16.0. The preview assets add a one-time download of approximately 444 MiB. No server restart is required.

15:53 - Wardrobe Studio cosmetic effects (3.16.1)

Studio now displays the existing animated cosmetic effects on garments and weapon accessories, including both hands. Effects follow the preview as you rotate and zoom. Switching cosmetics replaces their effects, and closing the wardrobe clears the preview.

Close the game and reopen the launcher, then use /wardrobe and select Studio. This update reuses the Studio assets already downloaded. Classic remains available for comparison and unsupported appearances.

16:00 - Optional character visuals (launcher 3.0.4)

Launcher 3.0.4 prepares Character visuals for future optional character and equipment improvements. Classic remains the default, and your saved choice is kept. This update does not introduce new player artwork or change the existing appearances.

The Experimental option now supports multiple character assets, with safer restoration to Classic and recovery if a switch is interrupted. Close the game before switching. Reopen the launcher to receive client update 3.16.2.

16:14 - Super equipment in Studio (3.16.3)

Studio now includes ordinary equipped weapon models and their native Super-quality effects, including bows, shields and both hands. Effects use the exact equipped item quality. Trying on a weapon skin replaces the equipment appearance and its effect; returning to equipment restores them.

Close the game and reopen the launcher, then open /wardrobe. This update adds a separate equipment preview download of approximately 25.5 MiB and reuses the existing wardrobe assets. Appearances that Studio cannot represent, including Dragon Soul overrides, use Classic.

16:36 - First character base study (launcher 3.0.5)

The first Experimental character base pass adds sharper skin, cloth and leather details, finer brown hair strands, and a subtle hand profile adjustment for the small male base. Classic remains the default, and your saved choice is kept.

Update to launcher 3.0.5 (client update 3.16.4), close the game, and select Settings → Character visuals → Enhanced (Experimental), then launch again. Armor and garments can cover the base. These shared assets change other characters using the same base or hair in your Experimental installation. Equipment, garments and accessories are later layers.

16:46 - Fullscreen animated wardrobe (3.17.0)

The wardrobe now fills the game window at your current resolution. A new painted, moonlit courtyard extends across the screen, with softly flickering lanterns, drifting mist and floating lights. Controls scale uniformly, and the background keeps its proportions on widescreen displays.

The animated scenery stays behind the character and is masked away from controls and text. Studio and Classic remain available, including garment, accessory and Super equipment effects.

Close the game and reopen the launcher, then enter /wardrobe. This update reuses the existing model packs and requires no server restart.

17:20 - Wardrobe v4 interface (3.18.0)

The wardrobe now uses the v4 layout: compact equipped slots on the left, a larger character stage, an inspector below the preview and category tabs above a denser catalog. The animated painted courtyard remains the default background.

Click a cosmetic to inspect it, then double-click or choose Try on. Remove individual try-on chips, compare Look A and Look B, or save up to three preview looks on this client. Sort by name, CP price or item ID, and choose Scene, Ink or Studio backgrounds.

Comparison and saved looks are previews. Equipping and buying remain per-item server actions, and purchases still ask for confirmation. Studio, Classic and native cosmetic and Super effects remain available. Close the game, reopen the launcher and enter /wardrobe.

17:30 - Character model refinement (launcher 3.0.6)

The Experimental small male base now has modeled palms and curled fingers, fuller chest and arm contours, corrected facial mapping, and a more compact hair shape. Classic remains the default, and your saved choice is kept.

Update to launcher 3.0.6, close the game, and select Settings → Character visuals → Enhanced (Experimental), then launch again. Armor and garments can cover the base. These shared assets change other characters using the same base or hair in your Experimental installation. Bow artwork, garments, accessories and equipment statistics are unchanged.

17:44 - Sharper wardrobe rendering (3.18.2)

The wardrobe now draws text, controls and icons at the game window's resolution. The painted courtyard keeps its original image detail, and the character fitting area also adapts its rendering resolution. This removes the extra enlargement that softened the previous interface.

The v4 layout, animated scenery, Studio and Classic previews remain available, including cosmetic and Super equipment effects. Existing item and character textures keep their original detail limits. Close the game, reopen the launcher and enter /wardrobe.

18:13 - Wardrobe resting pose (3.18.3)

Unmounted characters in Studio and Classic now hold their normal standing pose instead of playing the full idle cycle and spreading their arms. Weapons and their effects stay aligned with the hands. Cosmetic effects, accessory animation and the courtyard continue animating; mounted previews retain their riding animation.

Close the game, reopen the launcher and enter /wardrobe.

18:20 - Black Kenio and wardrobe background (launcher 3.0.7)

Experimental male Kenio now has detailed black clothing, black feathered wings, and revised facial textures. Its attached effect uses a restrained blue ring, lightning and wisps with no configured repeat delay. Classic remains the default, and your saved choice is kept.

Update to launcher 3.0.7, close the game, and select Settings → Character visuals → Enhanced (Experimental), then launch again and equip or preview Kenio. The effect also applies to female Kenio; its outfit artwork is unchanged. This release includes the revised wardrobe courtyard background and standing-pose improvements. Enter /wardrobe to view them. No equipment statistics change.

20:41 - Wardrobe v5 interface (3.20.0)

The wardrobe has a redesigned fullscreen layout with equipment and saved preview looks on the left, the character stage in the middle, and a five-column cosmetic catalog on the right. The refined courtyard background is joined by Ink, Studio and Dusk environments.

Click an item to try it on, browse grouped variants in the inspector, and use the catalog's Buy, Wear and Unequip controls. Purchases still ask for confirmation. Compare Primary and Secondary preview sets, save preview presets, remove individual try-on items, and hide the interface for a clear character view. Press Escape or Tab to restore hidden controls.

Preview sets do not change equipment until you choose an individual item action. Studio and Classic remain available with animated cosmetic and Super equipment effects.

The new /hidemyname on command hides your own player, guild and clan names from your view, including mouse hover. Use /hidemyname off to restore them.

Close the game, reopen the launcher to install client 3.20.0, and enter /wardrobe.
